Going in circles on updates!

Windows keeps updating me with the same d*mn update.
What's going on and how do I stop it?
The update is: "Security Update for MS XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2
(KB954430)"
Doesn't matter how many times I install it, it wants to DO IT AGAIN.
Kind of like me and my wife. (-naughty humor.)
Help.

You simply go to the Windows Update site, you click on show List of
Available updates, you find the update, you right-click the line, and you
select "Hide". The update won't show again to be installed on the machine.
