Use the sites and servies tool. Go to your server and
expand it. Right click NTDS settings -- if the Global
Catalog box is checked then the server is a GC.
Do you want to do it via a scrip? There are ways to do
that too.
MKline gave you a good answer, but also consider that
you may (and usually should) have multiple GCs, so the
question is "Which are GCs...?"
