Global Address List Problems

I am using WindowsXP pro and Office 2003 pro. I am having issues sending mail
to one of the contacts on my GAL as I get undeliverable message whenever I
try to send mail to them. When I look at the properties for this recipient, I
see the following in the display field: /cn=***/OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE
GROUP/CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=***, on the email tab there is no address listed. This
is not the case with any of the other recipients in the GAL. This is causing
me problems because even if I type in the full email address of the person in
the 'To' field, it still comes up with the undeliverable message.

When I try this on a Windows 2000 machine with Outlook 2000 I don't get this
problem.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Are you using cached mode? If so, and you disable it, does it work?

Thanks for the reply.

I was using cached mode but disabling it did not affect the problem with
this contact.

Does everyone have this problem? What are the properties of the contact on
the server?

I only experience this problem using my desktop, I tried logging into another
desktop and did not get the same problem.

Very odd - can someone else log into your workstation & use it properly? If
so, have you tried creating a new mail profile for yourself on this
computer?

I removed my existing profile and added a new one and the problem has been
solved.

Thankyou for your help.
