give ownership to another user?

I'm looking for a way to give a user ownership of a folder
on a windows 2000 server, without having to login as the
user.

Normally, I can only choose from local administrator or
the domain administrator account. How do I add the user to
the list, so i can make him/her the owner instead of
administrator?

Hi,

There is no way to give a user ownership. You can give `Take ownership
permission` on that folder (advanced-->choose user-->view/edit)
