Christophe

Hi everybody,
each time I reboot my servers, i get this warning
message : "Gina loop detected. Contact you system admin.
Hit OK to attempt recovery. Hit Cancel to reboot."
If I choose OK, I get the login window, so everything is
ok. But until that I have network access problem to this
machine. Here is the config : Windows 2000 server SP4 with
Terminal Services + Citrix Metaframe XP SR3/SP3.
Actualy, I did'nt find anything on the web concerning this
problem.
Is anybody have an idea?????

Thanks,

Christophe

That sounds like a loop in the Gina DLL. You have most likely installed a
software with a own Gina DLL which doesn't work properly.

Check the registry entry "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\GinaDLL" by default this entry doesn't exist.
Deleting this entry or setting it to msgina.dll should prevent the warning
message.

More information about the Gina DLL can be found at MSDN.
