Giga-byte Ga-k8vm800m

Have a problem witha GA-K8VM800M mother board - and windows 64 bit edition, when installing the 64 bit VGA drivers the monitor comes up saying out of range after the initial setup program before it even gets to the installation program... to install the drivers......

The chip set is VIA K8M800

Your monitor 'refresh' setting is too high ... boot into safe mode and lower it.
