Gif picture animation not working

G

Guest

I am working in FrontPage 2002 and my gif animated picture doesn't work when
published but works when looking in preview. Any answers?

And the Alternative solutions picture should be animated, gezz, sorry! I
have been working on getting this to work for 2 hours!

Your page doesn't work in Firefox, nor in IE because it is tooooooo wide.
Be careful about the width of your pages. It is best to plan them for
browsers who are set for 800 x 600. Set your own monitor to that and have a
look. Also add a bit of padding around your table cells so the text doesn't
bump right up to the edges. For elders (like me) it is also a good idea to
underline links (left side).
I don't see an animated gif.

Thanks for the quick reply! I have no idea how to plan for a browser that is
800x600. How do i do that in FP? And Padding? I have been trying to find a
successful way of making the text not hit the edges, how do you do padding?
I am a novice at this and have had no help so I welcome the suggestions,
Thank you! Any ideas as to why the gif picture isn't animated?

Which one is supposed to be animated??

Also, you really need to resize the light house gif from 609 x 1339 to the size actually used on the
page, using an image editing program.

It is to the far right bright yellow column, its a square shape, and says:
products & Services for Long Term Care in red font
Thank you so much for your help!

It is not animated..... (Firefox). Why does it need to be animated? Many
(most) hate animated gifs. I know I do and might leave you site very
quickly..... even though I see that the materail is worthwhile.

The lighthouse is supposed to be animated, so resizing it must be done with
an image animator program frame by frame, right Steve?

I must give my opinion, that this site for elders is too full of animation
bells and whistles. Even at my young age of 57, I have a serious problem
with it being so busy, etc. I would not stay around very long.

What about the "true" elders?
