EM: This operation cannot be performed while the destination is in use.
Close any applications that may be using the destination drive and sleect
'Retry'. Or, select 'Ignore' to force a dismount of the drive and continue
the operation.
When I do select 'Ignore' to force a dismount the Ghost process will
complete but the results are negative. Paging file errors are generated when
I attempt to use the "destination" drive (in a machine "matched" to that of
the "source" drive). It will accept the password but I do not get the
desktop - it takes me back to the login screen.
My boot drive is an SATA drive. I've two removable trays on the primary IDE
channel. I'm attempting to Ghost IDE drives with the "source" drive in the
tray connected to the Primary Master channel and the "destination" drive
connected to the Primary Secondary channel. I've re-partitioned and
re-formatted the "source" drive (NTFS) and I've disabled the "System
restore" feature on both the source and the destination drive - neither of
which helped. I've not been able to locate any applications that might be
using the "destination drive".
I'm assuming that XP has something to do with this as I never had this
problem when Ghosting in dos (W2K & Ghost 2003). Any suggestions as to what
I might look for??
