My computer came with Windows Vista Basic, But I want XP On My Computer, So I
can Play games on it easier, I found that when I go into games it doesn't
display the mouse all the time, It'll cut in and out.. I have the XP disc and
all but it says that I would be down grading and can't find a solution.. Is
There anything I can do to this to make it work?? If so, Please respond!
Thanks!

Yes don't try to install XP from within Vista. Not going to work.

Boot your computer with the CD in the drive and boot from the CD. Then
install XP from there. That will work.

You may need to go into your bios first though and configure it to allow
booting from the CD.

that's good advice... everyone that has vista should do a clean install of
windows xp and make their computer faster and more reliable and more
compatible...

remove vista trash, install xp

You need to do a clean install of XP by reformatting. Put in your XP CD and reformat and install. You cannot downgrade Vista to XP only by reformatting and a new clean install.

LOL Too funny. Only 5 or 6 years ago I remember posts exactly like this one
except the issue was XP and Win98/NT/2000.
