Hello, I have a Win2k Domain newly setup and win2k clients attached. However
there are a few Unix Computers that need to connect to the clients and
clients connect to the Unix computers.

Anyone have any ideas how one would go about this?

hi !
Last year I had a win2k server with xp pro and linux (redhat 9)wich were
using the server to authenticate and as a file server (home directories,
etc,etc).
For this I've installed SFU (services for unix) and with
a bit of work, it worked. This year the latest SFU didn't
help me out, but I'm not using win2k anymore. I'm usin win2k3
enterprise edition. That might be the problem. I gave up that solution. But
it might work for you like it worked for me last year :)

If you only want to transfer files between pc's and linux/unix you could
also use samba server.
good luck

temlite is a Win app that can run cli and the like from Unix boxes

Hi David,

I'm interested in your views of SFU. I know what I think those
initials really stand for! Have you had any problems with it? I'm
referring to version 3.0

Cheers,

Cliff
