some how the quick launch/toolbar/etc... got moved to the
right side of screen in a vertical position,,, how do i
get it back to the bottom of the desktop screen where it
should be??????

- Click and drag on the top edge (the mouse pointer will change to a
double-headed arrow) to stretch or shrink the Taskbar. Take care not to
lose it off the edge of the screen! If you do, you can move your mouse
carefully until you get the double-headed arrow again, and drag it back.

- Click and drag on a blank area in the Taskbar to move it to the top,
left or right of the screen. It's strange seeing the Start button in a
different position!

- Go to the Start menu, choose Settings and then Taskbar Start Menu.
Tick the Auto hide option and click OK. Your Taskbar will now have
hidden itself off the edge of the screen! Move your mouse right to the
edge of the screen and it will reveal itself again. This is a handy
option if you like to have a bit more space on your screen when working
in different programs. Follow the same instructions to turn off the
auto hide option!

- Right click a blank area of the Taskbar to see other options

thanks for the help,, i guess my mouse finger wouldn't
cooperate, but now it back to where it should be, i forgot
about the auto hide feature----thanks for the reminder

If you click and hold the task bar and move the mouse
back to the bottom of the screen, the task bar should move
back to the bottom of the screen - hope it works for you
