Im trying to add an mp3 to my show. I can get it to play on the first slide,
but when it advances to the next, the misic stops. I tried to select all
slides and add it that way, but the music starts over w/ each slide. how do I
make it so that the music file plays continously through the show?

This should help. Play sounds across multiple slides (A WAV runs through it)

PP2003....this does not work for me...also can not get the wav to loop any
other way. we ended up telling it to stop after slide 7 and start again on
8. it was a 2:30 music clip and just couldn't get it to loop through 13
slides, although I can add the Windows logon wav to it and it loops forever!
I hope they don't notice the skip in sound, cause it was due today and i am
at a loss.

Looping isn't exactly the same as playing a sound once as a background track
across the slides. Looping requires an additional step.

Add the sound to the slide, set the animation play settings, then
right-click the sound on the slide, choose Edit Sound Object, and choose
Loop until Stopped. That should do the trick for you.
