Getting rid of XP

I have recently bought an old system that has XP on it
but will not let me in as i don't have a copy of the
software, license etc. I don't really need it but need to
be able to get rid, but can't as it wont let me in to the
system as it was never activated and the time for this
has now expired... How can i reformat from the bios or
boot before the windows menu loads .. need reallt to wipe
clean and start again.. help please

It depends on what you want to replace it with.
Win98, Win2000?

You can use DelPart.exe. It works for a boot floppy (go to www.bootdisk.exe
if you need a boot diskette created).

DelPart will delete ANY partition regardless of how it was formatted. Great
tool if you are sure what you are doing, can be very dangerous if you don't
know what you are doing.
