getting rid of login in XP

is there a way to get rid of the login in xp home i have
to block my bro and when it is all taken care of i dont
want to have to sign in every time i boot i read something
about clicking cancel but there is none

Hi

Go to control panel and then select users. the login id which you use will be displayed there. Uncheck the option where users must sign in with a password and you will not be prompted with a password

Or you can download TweakUI and then configure the setting where you enter the userid and password and it logins automatically everytime u power on

Read about Tweak UI feature at http://www.winxpsolution.com/Tweakuixppro.aspx and search for the phrase Autologon by pressing Ctrl + F and typing the word Autologon and then press Enter

click [start] [run] and type in "Control Userpasswords2",,, uncheck the box for [users must enter a user name and password to use this computer] and then click [ok],,, this will get rid of the login prompt for wxp...
