24 hours ago he asked the same question and received two replies. He
ignored them both. OK, he probably didn't see my reply since I am X-No;

Quite right. Although the OP could be one of those who expects to see
a reply in his mailbox.... i have run into a few in various groups.
They don't understand the difference between mail and news, not
so strange perhaps - since many use outlook exploder for both.
IMO it is much easier for new users to understand the "nature" of the
different services and protocols "out there" if they must use
different programs to access them.

to killfile OP's from Google. if only to save myself the work of
replying to people who don't see my posts.

Or wait until the OP has participated in their thread, beyond the first
initial post. Thereby not devoting time to any of the hit-and-run types.

Of course all the other folks reading benefit from an answered question,
so there is that to consider...

But, like you, I prefer to reply to someone who can be bothered to
show active interest in the question they've posed.

Lost a prior account to spam. Why I use hotmail here. I only check the
mail there every now and then, to reply to occasional poster that
forget to reply to group, or just needs to get hold of me for some
reason All or most spam deleted there, thus serves the purpose.

removing unneeded shortcuts and folders. Most applications adds folders
and shortcuts to the start menu. The problem is, when you remove the
program, its folders and shortcuts sometimes remains in the start menu.
This can make your start menu somewhat messy. Start Menu Cleaner scans
all shortcuts in your start menu and removes empty folders and shortcuts
which points to files that no longer exist. The result is a smaller,
cleaner, more efficient start menu

thanks..is thier something along the lines of this program that will
erase empty unused folders throughout the drives not just in the start
menu...
