A few more details may help. Have you tried 'Compatibility Mode. Either right click on the desktop icon for the program and select Properties>Compatibility tab or find the .EXE file for the program in Windows Explorer, right click on it, select Properties and then the Compatibility tab.

some older games will not work. check with the game manufacturer to see if
they have a patch or a work around..
