getting Moviemaker...where & how ?

when I go to the 'official' site it says one can get Moviemaker 2.1 (or mm in
general) once you download sp2. I did that a long time ago but I for some
reason do not have movie maker on my machine. When I went to check in
add/remove programs and then choose windows, to see if it was there and I had
once turned it off or not installed by accident, nothing was there.

The only direction I get from the MM site is that I can get it over sp2
(turning on updates blah blah blah)

my windows update page is of no help.

so what now ? how can i get this programme again ?
another way would be BUYING sp2 on cd and hopefully getting MM but that is
just plain stupid in my eyes, why pay when I am already suppose to have this
and I'm not even sure if MM is on....

can someone help me ? to refind MM on my machine or where to get it (DL)
again ? thanks in advance

Go to...Start / Run...type..."moviemk.exe"...
press...Enter. If Movie Maker is installed
it should launch.

If that fails...maybe the following article will
offer some ideas:

What can I do if I upgrade to Windows
XP SP2 and Windows Movie Maker 2.1
is not installed successfully?

And it may be worth a try to reinstall
WinXP SP2:

Download Windows XP SP2

Generally, users install from the net but this
site allows you to download the complete
file to your hard drive before installing.

It's good for a network administrator because
you can burn it on a CD and install it on as
many computers as you need to.

And it's good for a single machine because
if you ever need to install it again...you'll have
it available without waiting for a download.
