getting html code instead of web sites

help, i am trying to use IE. when i want to go to pages
instead of the page i am getting the html code.

Sometimes I get 3-4 lines of code and then the web site
below that, sometimes just all the code. occasionally
instead of givving me a page, i will get the message, The
page is unable to be displayed. i know the page exists, i
try it at work and it's fine.

I am able to send and receive emails through Outlook just fine.

i talked to Dell, and to my ISP and neither of them know
what is going on.

can anyone help me? i am using win XP
 
With IE open, go to Tools > Options > Advanced. Click on Restore Default
button.
