getting files off my harddrive

Hi, i need some help please i had a progam on my computer that was a free
trial and befor the trial ended you had to buy the key and put it in but i
forgot and i let the trial end and now i tryed to delete the softwear off my
computer to redo it and put my key in but it keeps telling me that my trial
period has expired so now no matter what i do it still remembers my computer
i was told if i reformat it then it would work again as it would not know my
computer is this true i dont know much about computers is there another way i
can clean it totaly from my hard drive. iam useing windows xp any help would
be great thanks

If you don't know much about computers then don't reformat your pc. Its a
long route and unless you have good backups and have to hand all the cds
required for installing your applications plus keys etc then you'll end up
loosing something. Honestly, the best advice I can give is don't go that
route.

Why not contact the company and ask them if they would extend the trial for
you?

Hi, how did you "delete" the program? Did you use the add/remove programs
function in control panel? Did you us an uninstall that came with the
software?

hi, i did use add/remove programs to uninstall. then i tryed to put it back
on and it just says my trail has ended. i was told that its still somewere on
my computer thats why it wont let me redo it but i have look every were one
day i think i should do a computer coures . thanks

Even if you do a computer course then you might not find where they've
stored the information on your PC. It could be anywhere - and is normally
well hidden.

Which application is it?
