Getting Error Message

I've been getting an error message for a couple of days
when I try and do an "Add Existing Item" in asp.net
(Visual Studio), and now when I click on a non-existant
computer in the Windows Explore view of my network
places. The error message is:

Cannot load "\dp5Autl.dll"

And when I click OK, either Visual Studio shuts down, or
as in the case with Windows Explore, my computer locks up
and I have to go to the Task Manager to shutdown.

Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how to fix it?

I don't think this is a VS error - seems to me it is an OS
error. I especially think so when I cannot reload Office
XP - specifically Outlook.

Since I got this error when I was using Windows Explore
and clicked on a non-existant (old) drive, makes me wonder
what's going on with XP.
