getting blue with XP, and fans running slow HELP!

I am having a problem where my computers fan will start
to slow down, and my system with get very hot. I am
running a a AMD XP2100+

The computers gives me a blue screen, and I have to
reboot. I don't remember what the blue screen says, but
it has happened 2 time, and when I got on my PC today it
said windows had a Fatal system error, so I think it
happened again.

I could not find any help from microsofts help center so
I am posting it here to see if I can get some help with
it. I think it is something to do with bad secters, or my
Heatsink or something. I have tryed cleaning out my
system and it is still doing this..... someone help me
please. Thanks ahead :)

Could be that the +12 volt output of your power supply is giving out, or
that the bearings in the fans are going bad. Do you have software in your
computer that shows voltages, fan speeds, and temps? Many motherboards have
these features, look for it on yours (read the manual). Bad sectors won't
have anything to do with the temp or fan speeds.
