getting applications to run when you start your computer

I have just bought myself a new computer and I installed on it a small
program called 'showmem' which shows
you how much ram you have left on the task bar. I am trying to get this
program to start when I start the
computer, I did it on the old one, but I forgot how I did it. Please help
me.

You probably do it the same as in the old one.
Create a shortcut in the Startup folder.
C:\Documents and Settings\(user name)\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
