Getting Administrator Privilege error

I'm trying to change my DPI setting to large, since I have a new 19in
monitor, and when I go to do it, the error message comes up saying I don't
have administrative privilege to do it, I'm running windows XP home, and I'm
the only user, and i'm the administrative user, I've never gotten this
message doing anything else on my computer I was wondering if anyone knew why
I was getting this, and how can I change my DPI, thanks alot
 
right click and install the layout.inf.. (start -> run -> c:\windows\inf)

if it doesnt work then you have to copy this file from the CD to the
\windows\inf
