getting a version of excel

Could someone please tell me is there any site I can go
to and download a version of excel. I'm on Windows XP
home edition.

If you just want to view an Excel spreadsheet, you can use the Excel Viewer:
http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/2000/xlviewer.aspx

Otherwise, you'll need to purchase Excel from a software retailer of your choice.

Hi Bruce
You can't legally download Excel online, there are alternative free versions
which claim certain levels of compatibility with Microsoft Office files such
as OpenOffice - http://www.openoffice.org/
Though if you just need to view a spreadsheet Jon's viewer suggestion is the
best way to go.
