Getting a proper S-Video signal out of an AIW

Hi,

I have an older AIW 128 Pro card installed in a Windows 2000 machine.
Installed on this machine is a program that generates TV test patterns
and I want to use it to align a rear projection TV.

I ran an S-video cable from the card's video output (through the
supplied cable adapter) to the S-video input on the TV. I left the
computer monitor connected as usual.

With this connection, when I boot up the machine, everything I see on
the monitor is duplicated on the TV, including the Windows 2000 startup
logo, but as soon as the card's video driver kicks in, the TV blanks
out.

I've tried going through Display-Advanced properties to enable TV
output on the AIW. Then I tried various resolution/refresh settings
(including 640x480 @ 60Hz). Some settings will produce an all-blue or
all-red screen on the television, but I haven't been able to find one
that the TV seems to be able to display the screen properly.

The fact that I can see the BIOS startup messages and the Windows 2000
startup logo on the TV during bootup seems to suggest that I haven't
made an error in my connections.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
