get message - cannot find funcres.xla - whenever I start Excel. H.

Whenever I start Excel I get the message-"cannot find funcres.xla"- If I
click on cancel Excel opens and functions as normal. Any ideas as how I can
prevent this minor irritation?

Hi
seems like the Analysis Toolpak addin is not installed correctly. Goto
'tools - addins' and uncheck Analysis Toolpak. You may re-install it
from your Office CD

Thanks Frank, I've tried unticking the analysis toolpak box and clicking OK,
but when I return to Excel there is still a tick in the box and the problem
persists. Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated
