Get error closing attached mail database (archive folder)

I have an archive mail folder attached in Outlook - when I try to close it by
right-clicking and selecting Close "Folder Name xyz" I get an error message
which says:
"The operation failed. An object could not be found."

I have two such folders - both are local pst folders on my PC.
