Closing Outlook Archive Folder

I use Outlook 2000 and opened an archive folder and now I can't close it and
receive an error message which states "The operation failed. An object could
not be found"

The .pst file is still in the same location and has not been moved.

Can anyone offer any suggestions on how I can close this folder.

I found the answer in a link in another post and deleted the registry key
that was related to a ghost pst file.
