I'm running IE6 with all updates and I also have ad aware,
spybot, spy sweeper and anti virus software. I've cleaned
up tons of stuff and I have no problem getting on the
internet. Every so often when I'm on one page, yahoo for
instance, and I try to click a link or a previously viewed
page, I get the page cannot be displayed error message.
Aif I refresh the page about three times, it finnaly comes
up. Any ideas?

The same situation is happening to me, also. However,
when I try to visit certain websites, no matter what I do
I can't get to them. I always get the "Page cannot be
displayed" message. I know these website's work, and I
was able to visit them only a few weeks ago, and now they
will not load no matter what I do. I have no idea why
this is happening. If anyone could help I would
appreciate it.

Check for a file named HOSTS with no extension (not Hosts.sam). It may be a
hidden file. Open it with Notepad and remove any line referencing the site.
Or, rename HOSTS to OLDHOSTS
