Page cannot be displayed

O

Olivier

Hello guys,

I have a stange problem with IE6.
It's quiet random but sometimes, we get a message "The page cannot be displayed" on our company sites.
In the same instance of IE, we change the url to a new one : working. Back to the previous one : working...
Wait some time, refresh -> Page Cannot be displayed. Refresh Refresh Refresh : same message.

We sniffed the line : nothing goes out on port 80 in such cases...Since nothing goes out on port 80, I think something might be wrong with the browser but what ???

Has anyone an idea ?

TIA,

Olivier.

You may need to clear your TIF as you may have a corrupt file there.

Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab
Click the "Delete Files" button, when prompted place a check in:
"Delete all offline content", click OK
Click the "Clear History" button, click OK.
Click the Settings button, adjust the TIF size to 50 mb, click OK
