Here are some of the pictures from George Ranch Historical Park located in Richmond Texas. Wonderful place to get back in time!

You've got some fantastic photos there, really nice use of light! I particularly like the two photos of the cart :thumb:

Certainly looks like a very interesting place to visit. We've been to an 'outdoor museum' called Beamish in the North East of the UK which was similar - lots of shops you can go in, and it's like going back in time.

I guess it was worth going there and shoot those pictures. I was also thrilled that the light was good for the session, it makes a huge difference. It really helped with the indoor shots as most of the time the light was diffused due to overcast skies and temperature in low 40's.

I will be going back there as I covered only half of the place and it took 3 hours. I have to do another session for at least 4 more hours to cover it all.

Thank you for looking and your feedback. :)

Great photos Quad. The George Ranch looks like a very interesting step-back in time. I love those "living museum" places, they give one a realistic 'feel' for life as it used to be.

Thank you for sharing with us. Really looking forward to more photos from your next visit. :thumb:

Since you liked it so much I guess I have to plan another visit soon, so watch out for some more images from the place.:)
