Genuine Advantage Validation Tool (KB892130)

I want to download and install some recent WindowsXP patches. However,
when I go to the Windows Update Web site, it will only give me the
Genuine Advantage Validation Tool (KB892130).

How can I bypass this and get the other patches?

I forgot to say: I'm selecting the Custom button for "Select from
optional and high-priority updates for Windows and other programs".
This is followed by a check for the latest updates. When that is done,
the only thing offerred is Windows Update, which I don't want.

The Update shield in my Tray indicates there are four other updates,
three of which I do want.

892130 *must* be installed before you will be able to use Windows Update to
scan for and download updates.

Automatic Updates does *not* require 892130 to be installed to be able to
download/install updates.

Yeah, it's so beneficial for the end user. NOT.

Automatic Updates does *not* require 892130 to be installed to be able
to download/install updates.

(1/7/2007) yet Windows Update made me download it and install
it a second time yesterday before I could get any other updates.

Perhaps an updated version. Microsoft feels compelled to update the
validation tool on a regular basis because it believes that there are
people who are constantly updating the means to defeat it.

It's yet another updated version of 892130. The listing and install date
for 892130 in Add/Remove Programs will NOT be updated, however.
