Status monitoring software is written by the printer manufacturers. In the
case of chipped cartridges being replaced by non chipped cartridges, their
software probably won't work, therefore you should purchase original ink
cartridges or have the newer generic ones chips reset. Older printers with
non chipped cartridges have no problems.
