When in access the internet after about 3 minutes I get
a error message: "Generic Host Process for Win32 Service
has encountered a problem and needs to close" Then
shortly after another box comes up with a count down
timer "NT Authority\System Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
service terminated unexpectedly. System shutting down.
The computer shuts down and reboots automaticly.. No
problem at all when not on the internet.. Any advice to
stop this problem.

The first thing you should do is enable Windows XP's built-in Firewall:

1. In Control Panel, double-click Networking and Internet Connections, and
then click Network Connections.
2. Right-click the connection on which you would like to enable ICF, and
then click Properties.
3. On the Advanced tab, click the box to select the option to Protect my
computer or network.

Step #2:

Visit http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/xp_msblast.htm and follow
the instructions.

Step #3:

Download and install the following:

Blaster Worm: Critical Security Patch for Windows XP (32-bit version)
