'generic host process for w32 services' ???

after installing my zonealarm pro, it always ask me to
decide if connected with internet with this
'generic host process for w32 services' ?
is that a harm or worm ?

when i choose no, it fails to read the newsgroup from the
microsoft homepage.
what is this ?
do i need to choose every time 'yes' on this?
 
Many things, good or maybe alien, could be running
with assistance of the "genric host process".
One of the many things that are supposed to run there
is the DNS client, used to get network addresses from
the names you use to get to places. If it is not allowed,
you will not be able to connect.
