Generate a Calendar Reminder

Is it possible for Microsoft Access to Generate a Calendar Reminder in
Microsoft Outlook? I have a database that the users put a date into a form
for a process to return to the standard. I would like to have a calendar
reminder in Microsoft Outlook be generated from that date. Is this possible?
