general tab missing from internet options

The "General" tab is now missing from internet options
box. It was there yesterday and now it's gone today.
Anyone know of a fix?
 
Refer Fix 268 from Kelly's site:

Restore All tabs in IE

** The cause may be due to a spyware. Download Ad-Aware from
www.lavasoftusa.com, scan the system and eliminate the malware products.
