Gears Of War Problem

Im having problems getting gow to work. I can load the game up but when i go to put key code in so i can sign into my live account it always crashes and dosent give me a reason i have updated it and my graphic drivers are also updated. I have windows vista 32 bit and a geforce 8800gt graphics card.
