Gateway problem

Hafif

I have a Win2k server and I am using an internet firewall
as a gateway which uses NAT. My problem is
this.My firewall crashes due to excess connections (more
than 3000 connections even though I have only 20 active
users). It is found that the gateway is flooded with
packets.Anybody have solutions to this ?

Hi,

What ports are the connections destined to? What IP addresses are the
destined to? What are the source IP addresses and ports? It is very
possible you have a virus, but getting the above information anlog with a
sniff of your network would help determine if it is a virus or not, which
virus it could be or if it is some other issue.

Thanks,
Marc Reynolds
