garbled emails

I had to reload my MS Office. Ever since, some email messages (all from
corporations like Bose-Rand McNally-Papa Johns) are garbled. I cannot figure
out why. Any ideas?
 
You have to provide some more information...
- what means "garbled"?
- what message type?
- what encoding?
- what Outlook version?
