Gamma goes crazy on resolution adjust ment??!??!??

As stated above. Every time I change the screen resolution the gamma
settings on the ATI controll panel are super high. It is blindingly bright.
Some times leaving games does this too. Any ideas to fix this other than
reinstalling drivers?

Super-bright as-in, the adjustment is set to max, or
super-bright as-in, the adjustment is set to middle/default
but it's super bright regardless?

Haev you tried setting the default and saving it to a
profile?
Have you tried a different monitor "driver" inf without an
ICM profile? Perhaps I should back up, is the current
monitor driver correct for your monitor and it did have an
ICM profile?

Have you tried adjusting the monitor gamma/brightness down
on it's knobs or OSD, instead?

Have you tried an nVidia card? Better drivers.

I play Americas Army and on the dark maps I shoot the gamma and brightness
way up, and It sticks when I leave the game sometimes. I think this is the
problem. In the ATI controlpanel I press default to get it back to normal.
So its the game or drivers I think.

If it's only happening with that game, it's the game.

I am sure that you are using a software somewhere that is changing the
gamma, or your monitor is not set up correctly, and the gamma is going
back to the proper default. You will have to investigate this one.

But after the game is shut down, changing resolutions make the gamma shoot
up. Some of my other games are now doing this!

Try rebooting system and then doing (anything except loading
America's Army, run other games only) and see if you can
cause it to happen.
