game errors

When running almost most all games I get an ""application
name" has encountered a problem and needs to close. We
are sory for the inconvenience" error. Some times this
occurs a minute after starting the game, sometimes close
to an hour later. I have no idea why this is happening, I
rolled back to my previous nvidia drivers to make sure
that wasnt it, but I still get the errors, I have an AMD
Athlon 1900+ @ 1.6Ghz , 512Mb RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce3
Ti 200, so my hardware shouldnt be slowing me down, I get
these errors on games such as Battlefield 1942, UT2k3 and
even Counter-Strike. Tho for some reason the only game
that i seem not to get ther errors on is Worms 3D

Hi Beckel,

Since you rolled back your drivers, does that mean that
those games all used to work on your system? If yes...

Use Windows XP System Restore to set your system back as it was back then:

I would do that, but i dont have any rollback points

Try approaching your problem from a different angle then:
How long ago has it been since the games worked, and
what changes were made on your system since that time?
