gadgets?

is there a default folder to download gadgets to i cant find one any help
please.

You can download them to whereever you like. You click on them to install.

Why not just the default "Downloads" folder?

If you want to install a gadget you need to double click on it just
like you do any program.

If you're downloading with IE you can also run the installer from
within IE by choosing the "run" option instead of "save".
