G Force Go no Go!

I'm trying to install beta drivers from the nVidia web site for the GForce
Go 6800 Ultra and the installation stops and says something to the effect
that this is not Windows Vista and therefore cannot install the drivers. I
am running Vista Home Premium...what gives?

If you go to device manager and update the video driver from there and use
the location where the beta drivers unpacked to that should do it. I had
that problem myself and this was the only way to update the driver.

Some things to try:

Make sure any anti-virus program is turned off.
If you installed a driver from nVidia before, uninstall the previous one
from Control Panel > Uninstall or change a program.
Run the installation program by right-clicking on the file and choosing "Run
as Administrator".

I got the modified Inf version of 101.41 from laptopvideo2go website, you
have to download the drivers extract them then add/replace the inf file and
then press setup and it installs beautifully
