Future support of Visual Basic for Excel

Has anyone heard if Microsoft plans to continue supporting Visual Basic for
Excel in future releases? Rumor has it that it is going away. Is that true?

VBA will be supported for many years yet, the investment is too great, but
MS will not be developing it.

I'm quite sure you can't. There are no guarantees but from all of the threads
I have seen on this and all of the responses from MVP's who have a bit of
insight into what MS is thinking (and they have the non disclosure agreements
to prove it) one can believe that there are no current plans to replace
VBA... What the distant future holds is anyones guess.
