Future PowerPoint

I am currently a PowerPoint user in our church multimedia. We are interested
in using moving backgrounds. We are looking at purchasing software that will
allow moving backgrounds. Is PowerPoint going to have this capability in the
near future?

The most common application is to run a video switcher (which most large
Churches now use). Run a motion background video and then overlay the
PowerPoint signal. So two sources are being mixed into the projection (video
source and PPT source). The PPT has to be fairly simple (ie. all black with
white text or white with black text). Chromakey the PPT source to drop out
the background color.

Another option is to look into Office FX. Especially their upcoming
'professional' edition. The motion backgrounds are 3D elements created in 3D
Max Studio and can create some stunning results.
