Funny when creating new message

Deon H

Hi there,
this is my first message to this NG - thanx for the help.

MS Outlook 2002 SP3

When I want to create a new e-mail message, a pop-up box appears to tell me
that there is some program that tries to access my e-mail addresses and ask
if I want to allow this.

Is this a a virus? I don't like these kind of messages.

Regards,

So when was the last time you ran a full scan using a recently updated
(and GOOD) anti-virus program, or scanned using Ad-Aware, Spybot, Pest
Patrol (online is free but beware of false positives), or using other
spyware/malware scanners? Since you double-posted and the second post
of yours is a bunch of garbage output, maybe you're infected.

So what add-ins have you installed in Outlook (Tools -> Options ->
Other -> Advanced)? Maybe one of them is old and isn't compatible with
Office SP-3, so you have to check if the author has an updated version
that is compatible.

Most often caused by the PDFMaker add-in for Adobe Acrobat, but judging from
the reply your computer sent to this group as well, I'd say you have a worm.
