Funny-unusual things with asx files?

The following website has links to videos

http://www.microsoft.com/events/executives/webcasts.mspx

When I click on the link to see Steve's People Ready video at 300K

http://metahost.savvislive.com/microsoft/20060316/aub_ballmer_20060316_300.asx

returns Cannot find server error

The above happens in IE and Avant browsers

Yet the same link works in Firefox just fine

Maybe some setting of mine need adjusting or re-adjusting?

(I can't recall it ever behaving like this in the recent past)

BTW: the proposal to use Sharepoint seems an excellent feature to sell
to executives in most organizations/agencies or anyone that has a
portable computer and needs to access sensitive information while
travelling.

Some thoughts spring to mind:
- security at login/download (possibly encrypted?)

- local cache and down the datastream various cashes(?) security (could
this also be encrypted to a satisfactory level?)

The idea is to avoid those instances where sensitive information ends up
stored on a portable computer and the portable computer is mislaid or
something.

At least if the data are secure web based none should end up in storage
on a portable computer?

It looks like there may be three levels of service:
- local and community (eg: church, social groups)

- commerce and business

- super-duper secure?
