Full Version XP Pro upgrade from Windows ME question

Hi

I have recently purchased the FULL version of XP pro and want to upgrade
from Windows ME.

Is it possible to just run an upgrade from the XP Pro disk or will I need to
format the C drive and do a complete install.

THIS IS THE FULL VERSION XP PRO - NOT AN UPGRADE.

Many thanks

Running the XP CD and doing an upgrade will conserve your settings from ME.
If you do a clean install XP will format the disk or partition if you select
that from the installation options.

Its possible/simple to do however, why keep ME files or folders on a XP Pro
installation,xp doesnt need or use any of ME,also you'll be upgradeing in a
FAT32 file system which is outdated. You really should boot to xp cd,and do
a clean install with ntfs file system.
