Full Screen/Maximize Button

Hi All:
The screen of my brand new computer does not come 'Full
Screen' whenever I started to open program.
For example, I came here, NG in the hopes my screen
comes 'Full Screen,' however I still need to click the
button, 'Maximize' to get "Full Screen/Normal Screen.'
My question is how to get/enable 'Full Screen' without
needing of clicking 'maximize' button on the top right
corner?
Thanks for your help in advance.
Annie E.

Use your mouse and stretch the screen to full size, do not use the maximize
icon. Then click on File and then Close, the window will open to the size
you stretched it to the next time. This works for OE, IE and Windows
Explorer.

Hi Annie,

If you r-click the shortcut to the applications and choose properties, you
should see a dropdown menu that allows you to choose between minimized,
maximized and normal screen at start. It may not work for all applications
but, it does for some. Give it a try.

LOL, JAX
